Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the Iraqi Hekmat Movement, said that in every era and every place, some follow the path of Imam Hussein (PBUH), and some follow the path of Yazid of their time.

Hawzah News Agency- Head of the National Wisdom Movement Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim met with a large number of the servants of the al-Husseini pulpit, which was held In a Najaf-based symposium on the threshold of the holy month of Muharram.

He asserted that both the Day of Ghadir and the holy month of Muharram underscore the message of Wilayah and guardianship, adding that Ghadir holds a profound connection to the mission of Islam, as evidenced by the Quranic verse that declares the completion of the Prophet's mission with the proclamation of Ghadir.

He explained, “Ghadir represents the message of the perfection of the faith, the completion of blessing, and the despair of disbelievers in their attempts to harm Islam.”

Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim further emphasized the life message emanating from the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (PBUH), noting that Imam Hussein’s self-sacrifice was aimed at delivering the message of life based on truth and justice to humanity and that the subject of Imam Hussein is a central one.

Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim further emphasized the role of mourning assemblies in nurturing generations with loyalty, sacrifice, and courage, stating that Imam Hussein (PBUH) is a beacon in all aspects of life.

“The Issue of Imam Hussain is not merely a historical narrative but a reality that permeates our daily lives, from which we should extract practical lessons; it requires bridging the gap between the issue of Imam Hussain and our daily lives, as in every era and every place, some follow the path of Imam Hussein (PBUH), and some follow the path of Yazid of their time,” He clarified.

The head of the Iraqi Hekmat Movement also called for solidarity with the Palestinian issue, stating, “The Gaza crisis has overturned the philosophy of the Israeli regime, which has been built on oppression. It is Palestine that has emerged victorious with pride, dignity, and international popular solidarity; Palestine has also become a fundamental issue in the region and the world."
